Terms of Service

Last updated August 18, 2026

These are the terms for using ClientPad. We've kept them short and in plain language on purpose — if something here ever feels like it's hiding a catch, that's a bug in our writing, not the intent.

What ClientPad is

ClientPad is a CRM, support inbox, and outreach tool for teams — a place to track contacts and deals, answer support email, find new leads, and run outreach sequences, in one system. By creating an account or using ClientPad, you're agreeing to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if you're setting it up for a company, that company.

Your account

  • You need to give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your login secure.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what your teammates do with the access you give them.
  • An organization's owner controls who else can join it and what they're allowed to see.

Plans and billing

The Free plan is genuinely free, with no time limit and no card required — it's capped on usage (users, contacts, prospecting credits), not on time. Paid plans (currently Team and Business) bill per user, monthly or annually:

  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel a paid plan at any time from Settings.
  • Cancelling stops the next billing cycle — we don't charge for time you didn't use.
  • Prices are shown on the pricing page and won't change for your current billing period without notice.

Acceptable use

ClientPad is for real business communication, not for abusing other people's inboxes. You agree not to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email to people who haven't agreed to hear from you.
  • Use ClientPad to send spam, phishing attempts, or anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
  • Try to access another organization's data, or interfere with ClientPad's normal operation.
  • Resell or white-label ClientPad without our agreement.

Outreach sequences require an unsubscribe link and a real mailing address on every message, and honor an unsubscribe request immediately, org-wide — this is built into the product, not just a rule we're asking you to follow separately.

Your data

Everything you put into ClientPad — contacts, deals, tickets, messages — is yours. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use it for anything beyond running the product for you. You can export all of it or request it be deleted at any time; see our Privacy Policy for the specifics.

Uptime and changes

We work to keep ClientPad available and reliable, but we don't promise it will never go down, and we may update or change features over time as the product improves. We'll try to give notice before any change that meaningfully affects how you use it.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms — generally after a warning, except in cases of clear abuse (spam, security violations, illegal use), which we'll act on immediately.

No warranty, limited liability

ClientPad is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it correct and reliable, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use, to the extent the law allows us to limit that.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use ClientPad after a change means you accept the update.
